The following information has crossed my desk and I want to share this information with my readers. The stigma of disability is an ongoing reality and that stigmatization can be even worse for people who have psychological disabilities.

The U.S. Department of Health & Human Services' Center To Address Stigma and Discrimination (ADS Center) has released a new fact sheet on mental illness and the workplace.
The ADS Center's web page states: "SAMHSA's Resource Center to Address Discrimination and Stigma (ADS Center) provides practical assistance in designing and implementing anti-stigma and anti-discrimination initiatives by gathering and maintaining best practice information, policies, research, practices, and programs to counter stigma and discrimination; nd actively disseminating anti-stigma/anti- discrimination information and practices to individuals, States and local munities, and public and private organizations."
